This lake is so wonderful. You're most likely addicted to lakes, Nolen Lake is one of those nearby; dry warm beds await you at Best Western Horseshoe Inn. Any time is a delightful time at Gordans Pond if you have a thing about the outdoors. Soar down the rapids of Elkahatchee Creek in       a kayak, and Comfort Inn Alexander City is a glorious spot to get some rest. Gordans Pond usually gets much rain; March is the wettest month with most rain, and October on the other hand is the driest. If you come at the right time of year, Hatchet Creek offers some wonderful whitewater, and a pleasant site to camp here at Gordans Pond is Whispering Springs Campground.
