This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Goodner Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Coosa River Camp Retreat Alabama is a brilliant spot for that, and enjoy a round of golf at Farmlinks Golf Club. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Weogufka Creek; good water scenery is available at Goodner Dam close to Goodner Lake. While you're here at Goodner       Lake you will meet lots of folks from nearby Talladega-Sylacauga, and you can stay the night at Cedar Creek Campground. If only every location had this much outdoors cool stuff, what a great globe it would be. A lake nearby is Caudles Lake, and after a long day outdoors Childersburg-Days Inn is a tremendous spot to spend a night or two. You could also stop by Joiner Lake if you're here at Goodner Lake; it's close by, and Cedar Creek is one of the streams nearby                  that might be worth a visit. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Key West Inn-Childersburg, and get your heart pumping on the splendid whitewater of Walnut Creek. Goodner Lake is a wet place that gets a lot of rain; March is the month that gets the most rain, and October on the other hand is the driest. Through the summertime months at Goodner Lake temperatures are mostly in the 90's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 60's.
