This lake is so wonderful. Here at Goodlett Pools there are plenty of people from Decatur. The high level of rain makes Goodlett Pools a quite wet site; March is when you get the most rain here; October meanwhile is the driest month. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Goodlett Pools; Braziel Creek Trail is a magnificent       local trail; whitewater paddling is good on Brushy Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Get drenched paddling on Sipsey Fork, and if you came to camp Joe Wheeler State Park is a nice place to do that. After a long day outdoors Super 8 Florence is a glorious place to spend a night or two, and there are other places here than Goodlett Pools, for example Irving Pond. It's always splendid to visit Town Spring, and let's not forget Almon Branch which is a stream that                  you may encounter while here. This is no place for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. Days Inn Moulton is a good place to get some rest; Moulton Valley is a great place to spend some time. Summertime at Goodlett Pools comes with high temperatures in the 90's. During the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 60's.
