Goodlett Pools is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Good hiking is available along the Borden Creek Trail, and if you need a place to stay Moulton Days Inn is a magnificent choice. If you come at the right time of year, Sipsey Fork offers some great whitewater, and you can go for a hike on the Braziel Creek Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Do go to Irving Pond right next door to Goodlett Pools, it's a beautiful lake, and if you came for an overnight

dark hours in the winter at Goodlett Pools temperatures sink to the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. Almon Branch flows through this region. The high level of rainfall makes Goodlett Pools a reasonably wet location; March is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of the year is October.
