A striking lake like Bates Pond close to Gnat Pond is a tremendous location to stop by, and Marriott Shoals Hotel and Spa is a fine spot to get some rest. If you want a splendid time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Gnat Pond. There's so much to do here at Gnat Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Heritage Acres Recreational Vehicle Park is a wonderful place for that. All the water falling down from       the sky makes Gnat Pond a wet place; March is the month that gets the most rain; October on the other hand is the driest. All through the warm days of summer at Gnat Pond temperatures are regularly in the 90's while overnight lows are commonly in the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Gnat Pond fall into the 20's. Lakes are such serene sites, why not stop at Poplar Pond near Gnat                  Pond, and there are plenty of folks from Florence here. Abernathy Bottom is a perfect spot to check out, and if you're here you can play some golf at Shoals the Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful.
