Yep, outdoors enjoyable things to do are beyond doubt bountiful here at Gilpins Lake. Lakes? Sure, Bolton Lake is around here; whitewater paddling is perfect on Talladega Creek. While you're here at Gilpins Lake you will meet lots of folks from close by Talladega-Sylacauga, and       get dripping wet paddling on Cheaha Creek. Summertime highs at Gilpins Lake usually tend to be in the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 60's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 50's while Gilpins Lake night low temperatures throughout the wintertime are in the 30's. This lake is so wonderful.
