High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 50's, and overnight lows at Gilbert Lake during the winter frequently descend into the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at       Country Time RV and Motorhome Park is always a good experience; as expected, this is a glorious region for folks who like lakes, Turpin Slough is a lake around here. A glorious place to camp here at Gilbert Lake is Camp Delta Rv Park, and perhaps you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Hooks Lake is just a very short distance away. A magnificent nearby hotel is La Quinta Inn and Suites North Mobile Satsuma, and Griers Creek is one of the streams nearby that                  might be worth taking a look at.
