Beautiful George Lake has much to offer visitors. This lake is so wonderful. Enjoy a round of golf at Terri Pines Country Club not far from George Lake, and if you come at the right time of year, Mill Creek offers some perfect whitewater. During the warm days of summer here at George Lake, high temperatures mostly reach the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 60's. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this location. Drift down the rapids of Flint Creek - East Fork in a kayak; Holmes Gap is close at hand, and is a good place. This lake is so wonderful. a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Cullman is a great spot to spend a night or two, and a splendid location to camp here at George Lake is Good Hope Campground. Not far from George Lake you acquire some glorious water scenery at Lake George Dam, and some nearby water includes Adams Branch.
