     A perfect spot to camp here at Frost Pond is Camp Mcdowell, and dry warm beds await you at Parkway Inn and Suites. Take a hike on the Borden Creek Trail, and do pop by Theo League Lake, it's a charming lake. At Frost Pond during the warm months highs are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 60's. During the winter the highs are mostly in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Frost Pond. Life's too short to  
   enjoy all the enjoyable stuff next to Frost Pond. Frost Pond is right by the Braziel Creek Trail, and since you're here why not explore Buttram Gulf.
This lake is so wonderful. Soar down the rapids of Sipsey Fork in a kayak. Why not camp at Payne's RV Park while you're here at Frost Pond, and paddling on Hubbard Creek/Sipsey Fork is so much fun. Much precipitation falls at Frost Pond; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most rain; October
 
               meanwhile is the driest month.
Basin Creek flows through this vicinity, and if you need a location to stay Super 8 Florence is a good choice. This lake is so wonderful. At J W Mayhall Lake Dam near Frost Pond there are some interesting things to see, and Haleyville City Lake is a nearby lake that you could check out.

The rest of the year can be high or low anytime....The land on each side of the creek is private property. Camping is not allowed. There is only an emergency exit easment on each side of the creek. If you camp you will be trespassing....
