     If you need a site to stay Jameson Inn Tuscaloosa is a good choice; Friday Lake is not the only site close by, Sewage Lagoon South is a close by lake. The high level of rain makes Friday Lake a pretty wet spot; March is the month that gets the most rain while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Friday Lake; Payne Lake Nature Trail is a nice local trail. A round of golf at nearby Mimosa Golf Course  
   is a delightful way to kill some time, and if you've had enough of Friday Lake, Sewage Lagoon North is nearby.
