After a long day outdoors Scottish Inns Pike Road is a great place to spend a night or two, and in case you don’t mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Tallapoosa River. Freeman Lake gets a lot of water; the month with most of the rain is March, and the driest month of the year is October. For the duration of the warm days of summer at Freeman Lake temperatures are usually in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 60's. Throughout the

A lake close by is Boykin Lake; a pleasant location for whitewater paddling is Coosa River. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Arrowhead Country Club is close by. If you're interested in hydro
