This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Conecuh Trail; you can stay the night at Gantt Lake RV Park. Through the days of summer highs here at Franklin Lake reach the 90's; all through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Throughout       the wintertime this place gets highs in the 50's with temperatures at Franklin Lake dipping down into the 30's all through winter nights. Franklin Lake gets a large amount of water; March is the wettest month with most rain, and October on the other hand is the driest. If you need a location to stay Days Inn Andalusia is a magnificent choice, and Radford Ponds is a nearby lake that you could check out. If you get bored of Franklin Lake, you could also have a                  look at close by Gantt Millpond; Old Pine Golf Course is a wonderful golf course nearby. And if that's not sufficient, there's a lot more to do right next door to Franklin Lake.
