Lake Norman is a nearby lake that you could stop by, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Troy Inn is a great place to spend a night or two. Stay the night at Camp Sharon Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Getting to Bryan Mill Creek from       Folmars Pond is painless, and while you're here, you could also go to beautiful Wallaces Pond. Summer brings highs in the 90's to Folmars Pond, and through the night it cools down to the 60's. During the winter highs are in the 50's, and nighttime lows at Folmars Pond through the winter commonly dip into the 30's.
