Eskridge Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Camp Mcdowell is a great local campground. There are other places here than Eskridge Lake, for example Bonds Lake, and float down the rapids of Sipsey Fork in a kayak. At Eskridge Lake through the summer months highs are in the 80's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures fall       down into the 60's. For the duration of the winter the highs are regularly in the 40's, and night lows during the winter for Eskridge Lake tend to be in the 20's. And that's not all you can do here at Eskridge Lake. There's some interesting stuff to catch a glimpse of at Eskridge Lake Dam in the vicinity of Eskridge Lake; on a brilliant day you can take a hike along the Borden Creek Trail. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Hubbard Creek/Sipsey Fork; if you                  need a site to stay Parkway Inn and Suites is a great choice. This lake is so wonderful.
