Go for a hike on the Borden Creek Trail, and after a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Jasper, Al is a glorious spot to spend a night or two. If you came to camp Camp Mcdowell is a brilliant spot to do that; there's whitewater on Sipsey Fork for all you adrenaline rush seekers. Yep, outdoors amusing stuff to do are really plentiful here at Eskridge Lake. You can run the rapids of Hubbard Creek/Sipsey Fork       in close proximity to Eskridge Lake. Eskridge Lake typically gets lots of rain; the wettest month of the year is frequently March, that's the one that rains the most while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Eskridge Lake is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Hidden Cove Resort is a wonderful local campground, also Eskridge Lake Dam is worth a visit while you're here. Don't leave Eskridge Lake without                  first going for a hike along the Braziel Creek Trail, and SUPER 8 MOTEL - JASPER is a good site to get some rest. For the period of the summertime highs here at Eskridge Lake get into the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 60's.
