English Pond is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Flint Creek - East Fork. You'll need more than a day to discover everything English Pond has to offer, you can camp at Point Mallard Campground. Clark Spring is a good local attraction, and Cedar Mountain is clearly visible from English Pond. Do pop by Goose Pond close to English Pond, it's a gorgeous lake, and why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Cedar Ridge Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful. Getting to Clark Spring Branch from English Pond is painless.

For the period of the warmest time of the year here at English Pond, high temperatures ordinarily get into the 90's with nighttime lows in the 60's. For the period of the winter highs are usually in the 50's, and overnight lows at
English Pond through the wintertime regularly plunge into the 20's. So much enjoyable stuff close to English Pond, simply striking. There are some good whitewater spots on Mill Creek, and if you need a site to stay La Quinta Inn
Decatur is a pleasant choice. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at English Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Northgate RV Travel Park is a magnificent site for that, and if you're stopping by from Decatur, you won't be the only one.
