Super 8 Motel is a tremendous place to get some rest, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Hatchet Creek. Any time is a nice time at Edwards Pond if you like the outdoors. Very perfect water scenery is available at Edwards Dam next to Edwards Pond; while you're here, you could also pop by gorgeous Lake Limbaugh. Edwards Pond gets a great       deal of water; the wettest month of the year is usually March, that's the one that rains the most, and October on the other hand is the driest. The panorama of beautiful Edwards Mountain near Edwards Pond is glorious, and Edwards Pond is a location with many visitors from Talladega-Sylacauga. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Weogufka Creek for all you adrenaline junkies, and camping is available at De Soto Caverns Park. There's some flowing                  water close by, Little Tallaseehatchee Creek is a stream you can stop by while you're here. At Edwards Pond through the summertime highs are in the 90's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 60's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 50's, and night lows at Edwards Pond during the wintertime generally descend into the 30's.
