At Edwards Pond through the warm days of summer highs are in the 90's with overnight lows in the 60's. Highs all through the wintertime are typically in the 50's       with temperatures at Edwards Pond dipping down into the 30's throughout winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. A delightful spot for whitewater paddling next to Edwards Pond is Weogufka Creek, and naturally, this is a splendid area for people who like lakes, Lake Limbaugh is a lake in the vicinity. Edwards Pond is a relatively wet place typically with a good deal of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is usually March, that's the one that rains                  the most, and October is when it's the driest. There's so much to do here at Edwards Pond that you need to camp here for a while, De Soto Caverns Park is a magnificent site for that, and folks from Talladega-Sylacauga love to come here. This lake is so wonderful. Edwards Pond is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Cedar Creek Campground is a tremendous local campground; Edwards Mountain is clearly visible from Edwards Pond. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing things at Edwards Pond.
