This is a wonderful region for people who like lakes. Lake Limbaugh is a lake close at hand, and dry warm beds await you at SUPER 8 MOTEL SYLACAUGA. Paddling on Weogufka Creek is so much fun; the vista of Edwards Mountain is striking. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Cedar Creek Campground, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit close by Riser Lake. Edwards Pond really       is in the middle of a beautiful outdoors paradise. There are plenty of people from Talladega-Sylacauga here at Edwards Pond, and there's some flowing water nearby, Little Tallaseehatchee Creek is a stream you can have a look at while here. This lake is so wonderful. A pleasant place to camp here at Edwards Pond is De Soto Caverns Park, and whitewater paddling is perfect on Hatchet Creek. Edwards Pond sees pretty high levels of precipitation; the month of March                  is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest month is October.
