An exciting thing to go to close to Echo Lake is Echo Lake Dam; if you need a location to stay Howard Johnson Inn Tuscaloosa Al is a magnificent choice. You'll meet a lot of folks from Tuscaloosa here, and after a long day outdoors Wingate by Wyndham Tuscaloosa is a great spot to spend a night or two. At Echo Lake all through the summertime months highs are in the 90's, and the nighttime is a bit chillier of course, commonly in the 70's. The winter brings highs

| | down to the 50's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Echo Lake temperatures drop to the 30's. Just can't get enough of Echo Lake. Camping at Lakeside RV Park is always a good experience, and Echo Lake is right by the Payne Lake Nature Trail. Echo Lake gets a great deal of water; most of the rain falls during March; the driest month is October. Opossum Hollow is a great spot to look at; a quick tour to Bee Branch is absolutely a nice idea. This lake | |
