If the weather is delightful, you get a delightful sight of Cahaba Mountain from Echo                  Lake; whitewater paddling is delightful on Cahaba River. Throughout the summer highs here at Echo Lake get into the 80's with nighttime lows in the 60's. For the duration of the winter highs are commonly in the 40's while Echo Lake night low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 20's. This lake is so wonderful.
