A visit to Dukes Pond is always a good idea. This place is excellent, just explore all the enjoyable stuff to do in the neighborhood of Dukes Pond. A scenic lake like Mezicks Pond close to Dukes Pond is a good place to go to, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Sougahatchee Creek. Rolling Hills Golf Course is a great golf course close by, and if you're dropping by from Auburn-Opelika, you won't be the only one.

If you came for an overnight stay Baker's Trailer Park and Campground is a pleasant place to camp, and if you need a spot to stay Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites OPELIKA AUBURN is a glorious choice. High temperatures at Dukes Pond through the days of summer are in the 90's. Summer night lows sink down to the 60's. a splendid nearby hotel is Fairfield Inn & Suites Auburn Opelika. Dukes Pond sees pretty high levels of rain; during the month of March you get the most rain around here, and October is when it's the driest.
