There's some flowing water close by, Robinson Creek is a stream you can go to while you're here; Davis Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Chewacla State Park is a great local campground. Throughout the months of summer highs here at Davis Lake reach the 90's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 60's. Through the winter highs are usually in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Davis Lake are in the 30's. If you're a golfer then a brilliant

| | close by course is Rolling Hills Golf Course, and a pleasant site for whitewater paddling is Sougahatchee Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Johnson Lake is a great lake near Davis Lake; a tremendous location to camp here at Davis Lake is Baker's Trailer Park and Campground. This is no site for people who don’t like to have a good time. A charming lake like Lake Whatley close to Davis Lake is a good site to pop by; dry warm beds await you at Hilton Garden | |

Inn Auburn/Opelika. This lake is so wonderful. During your spree to Davis Lake you'll meet some folks from Auburn-Opelika for sure, and Hampton Inn Suites Opelika I85 Auburn Area is a tremendous site to get some rest. Very
good water scenery is available at Johnson Lake Dam near Davis Lake, and you can run the rapids of Little Uchee. Davis Lake mostly gets lots of precipitation; during March this area sees the most rain, and the driest month of the year is October.
