Not far from Cypress Pond, you'll discover Moon Lake which is a pretty lake, and since you're here, you could take a look at Big Sandy Creek. Summer brings highs in the 90's to Cypress Pond. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 70's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 50's       with temperatures at Cypress Pond dipping down into the 30's through winter nights.
