There's so much to do here at Crommelin Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Leisure Isle is a glorious spot for that; for you golfers we recommend close by River Run Public Golf Course. A large amount of rain falls at Crommelin Lake; the wettest month of the year is usually March, that's the one that rains the most; the driest month is October. This lake is so wonderful.       If you came to camp Capital City RV Park is a magnificent site to do that, and get soaked paddling on Coosa River. Lakes are such peaceful locations, why not go to Fitzpatrick Lake in close proximity to Crommelin Lake, and Comfort Inn Montgomery is a perfect place to get some rest. A pretty lake like Greer Lake in the vicinity of Crommelin Lake is a great place to take a look at; you'll meet a lot of folks from Montgomery here.
