Coleman Pond is not far at all from Dothan, and golf can be played at Green Hill Golf Course. Summertime brings highs in the 90's to Coleman Pond. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 60's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 50's with temperatures at Coleman Pond dipping down into the 30's throughout winter nights. Coleman Pond is a reasonably wet place regularly with a large amount       of precipitation; most of the rain falls during March; the driest of the months is October. Why not camp at Houston County Farm Center while you're here at Coleman Pond, and if you need a place to stay Howard Johnson Express Inn is a pleasant choice. Just can't get enough of Coleman Pond. If you came for an overnight stay Clean Park is a good place to camp; if you've had enough of Coleman Pond, Lakewood Lake is close by. This lake is so wonderful.
