So much cool stuff close to Clarks Lake, definitely mind-blowing. Chisenhall Bar is near Clarks Lake and is a good site, and dry warm beds await you at Jameson Inn Scottsboro. Drift down the rapids of Jones Creek in a kayak, and Jameson Inns is a perfect location to get some rest. For the duration of the days of summer highs here at Clarks Lake reach the 90's. During the moonlight hours it's usually in the 60's. The       winter brings highs down to the 40's while the cold winter nights at Clarks Lake are in the 20's. If you come at the right time of year, Stringer Creek offers some splendid whitewater, and camping is available at Crawford RV Park. Clarks Lake is a wet site that gets a large amount of rainfall; March is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month is October. This lake is so wonderful.
