The beauty of Clarks Lake attracts many people from all around. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this spot. If you need a location to stay Jameson Inn Scottsboro is a great choice, and do explore Bucker Pond, it's a beautiful lake. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Jones Creek, and of course, A trip to Chisenhall Bar is always fun. This lake is so wonderful. For the period of the days of summer, highs commonly are in the 90's at Clarks Lake, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Clarks Lake. There are some fine whitewater spots on Stringer Creek. We purchased the park in 2007 and have added many of the amenities. This is a family owned campground. Every month we have a campground cookout. We also have activities planned for the major holidays.
At Parnell Creek RV Park we have 34 level gravel sites. There are 14 sites with 30 amp Full Hook Up and 8 sites with 50 amp Full Hook Up. We also have 10 sites with 30 amp Water/Electric and 2 site with 50 amp Water/Electric. We also have 2 full service cabins and 3 Rustic Cabins, plus tenting areas.
We are centrally located near Scottsboro, Grant, Huntsville and Guntersville. There are many lakes to fish in nearby and the fish are plentiful. We are also close to Cathedral Caverns, Unclaimed Baggage, NASA Space Center, Robert Trent Jones Golf Courses, Old McDonalds Petting Zoo and many other attractions.
