After a long day outdoors Russellville Hotel And Suites is a fine site to spend a night or two, and not far from City Lake you'll hit upon Slosh Lake which is a pretty lake. Here at City Lake you'll       almost certainly meet some people from Florence; camping is available at Heritage Acres Recreational Vehicle Park. Do stop at Slosh Dam while you're here at City Lake, and there are some great whitewater spots on Bear Creek. City Lake ordinarily gets a great deal of rain; December is the wettest month with most rain while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful.
