Why not camp at Payne's RV Park if you're here at City Lake, and a visit to City Lake wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Seal Spring. If you came for an overnight stay Heritage Acres Recreational Vehicle Park is a tremendous location to camp, and if you need a place to stay Wynnewood       Inn is a great choice. Russellville Hotel And Suites is a tremendous site to get some rest, and if you come at the right time of year, Bear Creek offers some great whitewater. City Lake generally gets a good deal of rain; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most rain; the driest of the months is October. For the duration of the days of summer here at City Lake, high temperatures usually reach the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer                  temperatures plunge down into the 60's. During the winter highs are in the 40's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at City Lake sink into the 20's. This lake is so wonderful.
