Here at Chums Lake you'll in all probability meet some folks from Gadsden; if you need a location to stay Hampton Inn Gadsden AL is a magnificent choice. Black River has a fine whitewater paddling spot nearby, as expected you could also go to Thorval Lake since you're here; it's not far at       all. A magnificent site to camp here at Chums Lake is River Country Campground; Tidmore Bend is something you shouldn't miss if you're here. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Line Creek is so much fun, and a lake close by is Estess Lake. This lake is so wonderful. If only every location had this much outdoors amusing things, what a great planet it would be. Big Cove Creek is a tremendous local stream, and golf can be played at Twin Bridges Golf Club.                  All the water falling down from the sky makes Chums Lake a wet place; March is the month that gets the most rain, and October on the other hand is the driest. At Chums Lake all through the long summer days highs are in the 80's. Summer night lows dip down to the 60's.
