When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 60's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 50's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Choccolocco       Lake. There's whitewater on Salt Creek for all you adrenaline junkies, obviously you could also stop at Cone Reservoir while you're here; it's not far at all. An out of the ordinary                  thing to visit right next door to Choccolocco Lake is Sportsmen Club Dam, and camping at P and J Camping is always a good experience. Get your heart pumping on the good whitewater of Choccolocco Creek, and there are nice places to discover along the Odum Trail.
