Summertime highs at Cheaha Lake ordinarily tend to be in the 90's, and all through the night it cools down to the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 50's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Cheaha Lake. This lake is so wonderful. You simply have to go to Pulpit Rock since you're here at Cheaha Lake, and if you came to camp Cheaha Resort State Park is a perfect site       to do that. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Odum Trail; if you've had enough of Cheaha Lake, Lake Henry is nearby. Cheaha Lake sees pretty high levels of rain; March is the wettest month with most rain; October is the month with the least moisture. Get covered with water paddling on Salt Creek, and dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Oxford. But wait, there's more to do near Cheaha Lake. Bald Rock can be made out from Cheaha Lake;                  camping at Country Court RV Park is always a great experience. People from Anniston-Oxford love to come to Cheaha Lake, and Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, Oxford I-20, AL is a great place to get some rest.
