From The Cat Hole you acquire a delightful panorama of Barkley Mountain, and Talley Bottom is an interesting swamp next to The Cat Hole. A great deal of rainfall falls at The Cat Hole; most of the rain falls through March, and the driest month is August. If you came for an overnight stay Ditto Landing is a wonderful place to camp, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop       by close by Swan Pond. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Cotaco Creek. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Mill Creek for all you adrenaline people It's always wonderful to pop by Cove Spring. You're sure to come across some cheerful people from Huntsville here, and a perfect place to check out close by is Indian Creek Bar. Whohoo, so much entertaining stuff in one place! The Cat Hole is great!                  Lakes are splendid; The Booger Hole is a lake that's close to The Cat Hole, and if you need a spot to stay Baymont Inn and Suites is a fine choice. Dry warm beds await you at Four Points By Sheraton Huntsville Airport, and of course Barren Fork Creek flows through this region. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave The Cat Hole without first checking out Moon Bottom, and Point Mallard Campground is a brilliant local campground. At The Cat Hole through the summertime months highs are in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's.
