Little River Canyon National Preserve is a good place close to Cashs Lake; perhaps you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Weiss Lake is just a very short distance away. Cashs Lake gets a lot of water; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain; October meanwhile is the driest month. Paddling       on Little River is so much fun, and if you've had enough of Cashs Lake, Temples Lake is close by. If only every place had this much outdoors enjoyable stuff, what a great world it would be. Hampton Inn Fort Payne is a good place to get some rest; there's always Cash Dam to stop at near Cashs Lake. After a long day outdoors Econo Lodge Ft. Payne is a fine site to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Cashs Lake that                  you need to camp here for a while, Driftwood Family Campground is a good site for that, and do visit Camprock Creek since you're here at Cashs Lake. Summertime highs at Cashs Lake frequently tend to be in the 80's with overnight lows in the 60's.
