     Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Russellville Hotel & Suites; don't leave Cagle Wash Hole without first paying a visit to Carroll Spring. Smith Lake is a nearby lake that you could go to; if you need a location to stay Wynnewood Inn is a great choice. Cagle Wash Hole frequently gets a good deal of precipitation; the month of December is the wettest with most of the rain while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful.  
   Get yourself into a kayak and hit Bear Creek, and why not a little side journey to Cagle Branch.
Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this location. If you yearn for a little side journey, try Cat Hollow; you can stay the night at Payne's RV Park. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Cagle Wash Hole has to offer, you can camp at Bear Creek Development Authority, and while you're here, you could also go to pretty Rinehart Wash Hole.                Wash Hole during the days of summer highs are in the 90's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 50's while Cagle Wash Hole overnight low temperatures throughout the wintertime are in the 20's.
If you come at the right time of year, Hubbard Creek/Sipsey Fork offers some nice whitewater.

Water flow is controled by TVA, in summer they let enough through to float on weekends and holidays. The rest of the year can be high or low anytime....The land on each side of the creek is private property. Camping is not allowed. There is only an emergency exit easment on each side of the creek. If you camp you will be trespassing....
