     You could also stop at Newsoms Pond if you're here at Burts Lake; it's nearby, and you can take a little spree to Burkes Lake Dam if you're here at Burts Lake. Take a side trip to Mitchell Creek, and Little Uchee has a pleasant whitewater paddling spot close by. Throughout the summertime months highs here at Burts Lake reach the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Throughout the wintertime highs are usually in the 50's; nighttime lows through  
   the winter for Burts Lake tend to be in the 30's. Burts Lake commonly gets a great deal of rainfall; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain, and October meanwhile is the driest month.
Burts Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Sawyer's Mobile Home Estates is a good local campground, and Days Inn Phenix City is a great spot to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Anthony's Mobile Park is a glorious
 
               place to do that; paddling on Chattahoochee River is so much fun.
