On a fine day at Bucker Pond you can take a hike along the Winding Stairs, and get your heart pumping on the tremendous whitewater of Turkey Creek. Don't leave Bucker Pond without first paying a visit to Flag Spring; Green Acres RVs Park is a good campground nearby.       Through the summertime highs here at Bucker Pond get into the 90's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 60's. All through the winter highs are in the 40's, and throughout the dark hours in the winter at Bucker Pond temperatures fall to the 20's. The nice people of Scottsboro like to hang out nearby, and why not pop by close by Evans Creek since you're here at Bucker Pond. This place, Bucker Pond, it definitely has so much outdoors                  amusing stuff. A great site to explore right next door to Bucker Pond is Chicken Foot Cove, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Jones Creek. Scraper Hill is clearly visible from Bucker Pond; if you need a site to stay Econo Lodge & Suites is a fine choice. All the water falling down from the sky makes Bucker Pond a wet place; the month with most of the rain is March while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful.
