There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Buck Pond. Pond Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth a visit, and you can go for a hike on the Conecuh Trail. Buck Pond gets a large amount of water; March is the month that gets the most rain; the driest of the months is October. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Andalusia is a great place to spend a night or two;       if you get bored of Buck Pond you could also stop at close by Open Pond. Going for a hike on the Lake Shore Trail is always a nice adventure, and Ditch Pond is a nearby lake that you could go to. Buck Pond is a great spot to visit for more than one day, Gantt Lake RV Park is a great spot to camp nearby, and a pleasant close by hotel is Best Western Andalusia Inn. A short tour to Blue Spring is always worthwhile, and you can stay the night at Florala State                  Park. During the warmest time of the year at Buck Pond highs are typically in the 90's, and the night is a tad chillier of course, generally in the 60's.
