And if that's not sufficient, there's a lot more to do close to Boy Scout Lake. After a long day outdoors Americas Best Value Inn-Heflin is a delightful location to spend a night or two; if you're going to from Anniston-Oxford, you won't be the only one. Boy Scout Lake is a pretty wet place regularly with a large amount       of rain; through the month of March you get the most rain around here; October is when it's the driest. Dry warm beds await you at Sleep Inn Oxford, and if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the Odum Trail. If you came to camp Cane Creek RV Park and Campground is a pleasant site to do that. The scenery at Boy Scout Dam close to Boy Scout Lake is wonderful, and get your pulse rate up on the wonderful whitewater of Cheaha Creek. This lake is                  so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Boy Scout Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Country Court RV Park is a brilliant location for that; there are other sites here than Boy Scout Lake, for example Stricklins Lake. Through the summer months at Boy Scout Lake temperatures are regularly in the 90's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 60's.
