Bounds Lake is a wet place that gets a lot of rainfall; March is the wettest month with most rain; the driest month of the year is October. High temperatures at Bounds Lake during the summer are in the 90's, and the night is somewhat colder of course, mostly in the 60's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 50's, and during the dark hours       in the winter at Bounds Lake temperatures sink to the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. You could also pop by Woodmere Number Two Lake if you're here at Bounds Lake; it's close by, and Bounds Lake is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Pelham Koa Kampground is a brilliant local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Get dripping wet paddling on Cahaba River; after a long day outdoors Hampton Inn Calera is a delightful spot to spend a night or two.                  You can take a little journey to Green Valley Group Dam if you're here at Bounds Lake, and Holiday Inn Express CALERA-I-65 EXIT 231 is a brilliant place to get some rest.
