Bone Lake is a wet site that gets lots of rain; all through March this area sees the most rain; September on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. A magnificent location to camp here at Bone Lake is Payne       Lake Eastside Campground; a good nearby hotel is Windwood Inn Brent/Centerville. Bone Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Spillway Campground is a great local campground. During the months of summer at Bone Lake temperatures are regularly in the 90's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 60's.
