Blue Pond is not the only place close by, Lake Paradise is a close by lake. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Blue Pond has to offer, you can camp at Lakeside RV Park. Now, you may feel that's plenty but there's even more cool stuff to do here at Blue Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Getting to Thomas Branch from Blue Pond is simple, and Baymont Inn & Suites Vance is a great spot to get       some rest. You can run the rapids of Six Mile Bend in close proximity to Blue Pond, and after a long day outdoors Windwood Inn Brent/Centerville is a nice spot to spend a night or two. There's so much to do here at Blue Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Lucy's Branch L.l.c. is a magnificent spot for that; a lake nearby is Gallant Lake. The high level of rain makes Blue Pond a pretty wet location; the month with most of the rain is March while October                  is usually the driest month. At Blue Pond throughout the long summer days highs are in the 90's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's.
