Many people like to go to Blue Pond. Greystone Golf and Country Club is a golf course in the vicinity of Blue Pond. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Blue Pond has to offer, you can camp at Pelham Koa Kampground. During the summer months at Blue Pond highs are generally in the 80's while nighttime lows are typically in the 60's. This lake is so wonderful. Blue Pond is a place with many visitors from Birmingham-Hoover,
and if you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Cahaba River. Oak Mountain Lake Dam Number Two is not far at all from Blue Pond, and Yellowleaf Creek - North Fork is a tremendous whitewater
spot nearby. After a long day outdoors Wingate by Wyndham - Birmingham is a great place to spend a night or two, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by nearby Catfish Lake.
