Wheeler Spring is a scenic place to stop at while you're at Blue Pond, and a wonderful lake like Round Pond is a glorious spot to stop by. This lake is so wonderful. Super 8 Florence is a good location to get some rest, and lakes are such calm spots, why not take a look at Cat Pond. Blue Pond is great enough to spend more       than a day at, Joe Wheeler State Park is a great local campground, and why not a little side tour to Red Branch. At Blue Pond throughout the warm months highs are in the 90's with night lows in the 60's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 40's; all through the dark hours in the winter at Blue Pond temperatures sink to the 20's. Blue Pond really is in the middle of a wonderful outdoors paradise. Camping at Point Mallard Campground                  is always a great experience.
