Through the warmest time of the year at Blue Pond temperatures are generally in the 90's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 50's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Blue Pond plunge into the 30's. Lakes are brilliant; Oxford Lake is a lake that's next to Blue Pond; do put some time aside to spend at Boiling Spring if you're here at Blue Pond. Blue Pond       is a wet site that gets a good deal of precipitation; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is October. There's so much to do here at Blue Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Cheaha Resort State Park is a great site for that, and after a long day outdoors Comfort Suites Oxford is a tremendous location to spend a night or two. Be careful coming to Blue Pond, you might not ever want to go back home again.                  There are plenty of people from Anniston-Oxford here at Blue Pond, and get dripping wet paddling on Salt Creek. Cider Ridge Golf Club is a splendid golf course nearby, and Wolfskull Creek is close to Blue Pond and is always a joy to visit. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Jameson Inn Oxford; drift down the rapids of Cheaha Creek in a kayak. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Blue Pond has to offer, you can camp at Country Court RV Park, and not far from Blue Pond you'll discover Robertsons Lake which is a gorgeous lake.
