High View is an exciting spot to check out while at The Blue Hole; the Winding Stairs is a glorious hiking trail close by. So many enjoyable things to do at The Blue Hole, so little time. The Blue Hole is great enough to spend more than a day at, Thunder Canyon Campground is a great local campground, and whitewater paddling is good on Coon Creek. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at The Blue Hole, you could       also visit charming Mansel Wolf Lake, and Flat Rock / Coon Creek has a brilliant whitewater paddling spot close by. This place rules, just explore all the fun things to do right next door to The Blue Hole. Comfort Inn & Suites is a splendid place to get some rest; The Blue Hole is a place with many visitors from Scottsboro. A journey to Coon Gap is always fun, and Russell Cave National Monument is a very nice place to stop by. At The Blue Hole during                  the long summer days highs are in the 80's with night lows in the 60's. During the winter highs are usually in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at The Blue Hole. The Blue Hole is a rather wet place generally with a great deal of rainfall; March is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest of the months is October. You'll come across a gorgeous lake called Fort Mountain Lake near The Blue Hole, and if you're here you should visit Kings Bend. This lake is so wonderful. If you're here at The Blue Hole, you could visit Bowman Branch, and a great spot to camp here at The Blue Hole is Delaney's Travel Trailer Park.
