The Blue Hole is a nice lake to visit. High View is an exciting spot to check out while at The Blue Hole; the Winding Stairs is a glorious hiking trail close by. So many enjoyable things to do at The Blue Hole, so little time. The Blue Hole is great enough to spend more than a day at, Thunder Canyon Campground is a great local campground, and whitewater paddling is good on Coon Creek. This lake is so wonderful. the long summer days highs are in the 80's with night lows in the 60's. During the winter highs are usually in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at The Blue Hole. The Blue Hole is a rather wet place generally with
a great deal of rainfall; March is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest of the months is October. You'll come across a gorgeous lake called Fort Mountain Lake near The Blue Hole, and if you're here you should visit Kings
Bend. This lake is so wonderful. If you're here at The Blue Hole, you could visit Bowman Branch, and a great spot to camp here at The Blue Hole is Delaney's Travel Trailer Park. A delightful close by hotel is Best Western Rainsville Inn; on a great day you can take a hike along the River Mont Cave Historical Trail.

We offer a park that is convenient to I-59 (approximately 2 miles from Interstate), good restaurants and Wal-Mart nearby, yet we are in a quiet setting.
