Drift down the rapids of Warrior River - Locust Fork in a kayak; needless to say, this is a great neighborhood for people who like lakes, Hazerig Upper Pond is a lake nearby. This lake is so wonderful. A quick journey to Austin Creek near Blackwood Ponds is a perfect idea; if you're hooked on cool geologic traits       try Scirum Bluff. Man, is there a heap of entertaining stuff to do in the neighborhood of Blackwood Ponds. For you golfers we recommend nearby Plantation Golf Club; dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Hanceville. After a long day outdoors Best Western Colonial Inn is a good location to spend a night or two, and Flat Top is gorgeous and can be distinguished from here. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Warrior River - Calvert Prong                  of the Locust Fork, and why not check out Hazerig Lake Dam while you're here.
