     If you came for an overnight stay Whispering Springs Campground is a fine site to camp, and you can run the rapids of Coosa River. Key West Inn Wetumpka is a wonderful location to get some rest; Blackwell Lake Dam Number One has good water scenery. Black Well Lake is a wet location that gets a great deal of rainfall; March is the month that gets the most rain; the driest month is October. Lakes are pleasant; Blackwell Lake Number Two is a lake that's near  
   Black Well Lake, and after a long day outdoors Jameson Inn Alexander City is a perfect place to spend a night or two.
This lake is so wonderful. You're almost certainly hooked on lakes, Blackwell Lake Number One is one of those nearby; a magnificent place for whitewater paddling is Elkahatchee Creek. During the warmest time of the year at Black Well Lake temperatures are frequently in the 80's, and the overnight is a bit colder of course, regularly in the
 
               60's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 50's, and nighttime lows at Black Well Lake through the wintertime generally plunge into the 30's. If you want a perfect time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Black Well Lake. Wind Creek State Park is a good local campground.
