    Go to Black Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, South Sauty Creek offers some good whitewater, and if you need a place to stay Comfort Inn Scottsboro is a great choice. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool things at Black Lake. If you're here at Black Lake, you could explore South Sauty Creek. Black Lake is a wet spot that gets lots of precipitation; March is the wettest  
   month with most rain, and October is the month with the least moisture.
There's so much to do here at Black Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Mountain Lakes Resorts is a great location for that; you'll meet a lot of people from Scottsboro here. There are some pleasant whitewater spots on Blackoak Creek, and Jameson Inn Scottsboro is a great site to get some rest. Stay the night at South Sauty Creek Store, and Mink Creek Bar is nearby, and is
 
               a perfect spot.
For the duration of the long summer days at Black Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 90's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Through the wintertime highs are typically in the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 20's for Black Lake.
