Beaver Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Beaver Lake is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Point Mallard Campground is a splendid local campground; if you yearn for a little side journey, try South Flint River Bar. Having a pleasant time at Beaver Lake is trouble-free. An attention-grabbing thing to go to near Beaver Lake is Decatur Harbor, and Mill Creek is a brilliant whitewater spot close by. This lake is so wonderful.

place to spend a night or two. Beaver Lake is not far at all from Decatur, and swing by Black Branch it's a nice place to visit. For the period of the long summer days highs here at Beaver Lake get into the 90's, and during the
night it cools down to the 60's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 50's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Beaver Lake. All the water falling down from the sky makes Beaver Lake a wet spot; March is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is October.
