A visit to Beasley Pond is always a good idea. For the duration of the summer highs here at Beasley Pond get into the 90's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Beasley Pond. Beasley Pond sees pretty high levels of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is March while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation.

Blue Spring Cove is close to Beasley Pond and is definitely a splendid site to take a look at, and there are plenty of people from Scottsboro here. What a location this is for outdoors people. Lakes? Sure, Reese Pond is close at hand, and if you came for an overnight stay Crawford RV Park is a delightful location to camp. Camping is available at Goosepond Colony Park and Camp, and
if you need a spot to stay Econo Lodge & Suites is a good choice. This lake is so wonderful. There are other sites here than Beasley Pond, for example Long Pond, and whitewater paddling is fine on South Sauty Creek.

 | We stayed at Crawford RV park for a week April 2006. A small family owned park which had WiFi was a great find. It was convenient to fishing and other activities. We are making reservations there for this April 2007. I would recommend this park to anyone who likes a small family campground atmosphere.... |

At Parnell Creek RV Park we have 34 level gravel sites. There are 14 sites with 30 amp Full Hook Up and 8 sites with 50 amp Full Hook Up. We also have 10 sites with 30 amp Water/Electric and 2 site with 50 amp Water/Electric. We also have 2 full service cabins and 3 Rustic Cabins, plus tenting areas.
We are centrally located near Scottsboro, Grant, Huntsville and Guntersville. There are many lakes to fish in nearby and the fish are plentiful. We are also close to Cathedral Caverns, Unclaimed Baggage, NASA Space Center, Robert Trent Jones Golf Courses, Old McDonalds Petting Zoo and many other attractions.
Our amenities include FREE Wifi, Salt Water In-Ground Swimming Pool, 18 Hole Mini Golf, Clubhouse, playground, horseshoes, basketball, fitness and tanning center, activity center, covered outdoor shelter, bath houses, on-site laundry, movie rental, camp store, planned activities, and more.
