Why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Soldiers Creek Golf Club, and Baroco Lake Number Two is great enough to spend more than a day at, K O A Kampgrounds is a great local campground. This lake is so  
   wonderful. Arnica Bay is a nearby lake that you could check out, and dry warm beds await you at Spanish Key by Meyer Real Estate. Summertime highs at Baroco Lake Number Two commonly tend to be in the 80's. Summer night lows sink down to the 70's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 50's while Baroco Lake Number Two night low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 30's.

Weeks Bay wetlands are a magnet for tourists. It is a small estuarine embayment off Mobile Bay comprised of approximately three square miles of open shallow water, averaging 4. 5 feet deep. Forested wetlands form an extensive strip between floodplain swamps and upland forests. Weeks Bay is a critical nursery for fish, crustaceans, and shellfish. An interesting morning or afternoon can be spent visiting the estuary display center and strolling the Boardwalk through the wetlands.
