Barkers Pond is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Florala State Park is a delightful local campground, also Leo Williams is worth taking a look at since you're here. Barkers Pond is a reasonably wet place regularly with lots of precipitation; most of the rain falls during March, and the driest month of the year is October. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Opp Inn, and camping       at Heart of Dixie RV and Music Park is always a brilliant experience. Summertime at Barkers Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 90's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 60's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 50's with temperatures at Barkers Pond dipping down into the 30's during winter nights. If you need a place to stay Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites ANDALUSIA is a fine choice.
