The beauty of Avery Pond attracts many people from all around. Avery Pond gets a good deal of water; March is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month is October. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Six Mile Bend, and Windwood Inn Brent/Centerville is a perfect location to get some rest. Why not camp at Lakeside RV Park while you're here at Avery Pond, and getting to Cooper Pasture Branch from Avery Pond is easy. If you came for an overnight stay Tannehill Historical State Park is a wonderful location to camp, and dry warm beds await you at Baymont Inn & Suites Vance.
