It's always fun to stop by Aurora Lake. Aurora Lake typically gets a lot of precipitation; through March this area sees the most rain while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Armstrong Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth going to, and dry warm beds await you at Microtel Inn and Suites of Albertville. Aurora Lake is not far at all from Gadsden; whitewater paddling is glorious on Line Creek.
